Lynwood R/C Dragway racers recently returned from the IMDRA Eastern Nationals held at the "ROCK" Rockingham Dragway in Rockingham, NC. Pictured from left to right: Kevin Moore, Rey Perez, Dane Norris, Thomas Cooks, Ken Lupi, James "Butchie" Smith, "Big" Wil Judkins, Ivan Cathey.
Pictured below:The Lynwood racers had a good showing at the IMDRA Eastern Nationals as Ken Lupi of Drag Race Concepts took his Nitro Dynamics USA powered T/F dragster to the #1 qualifying position with a spectacular 1.536 at 85.2 mph. Ken also won the class defeating Melvin Alston in the finals of Nitro Top Fuel Dragster. Ken runs a Litespeed Engineering Area 51 Direct Drive Top Fuel Dragster.
Pictured below: Kevin Moore piloted his OnStat Computers sponsored and Nitro Dynamics USA powered "Killa Klown" Camaro to the winners circle in Pro Modified while also getting the Top Qualifier spot with a 1.734 at 76 mph. Kevin also pulled of the win in the "B" side of T/F Dragster.
Pictured below: James "Butchie" Smith powered his OnStat Computers sponsored Pro Mod Vette past the competition to take the win in the "B" side of pro modified.
Pictured below: Ivan Cathey of IC Racing took the concourse trophy with his awesome flame painted T/F dragster.
